Lorikeets we currently Breed are:

Our Lorikeets are housed in Suspended Aviaries as they are much easier to maintain and clean they are also a necessity for hygiene especially for Lorikeets as they are well known for messy wet feces (as a good mate calls them QUARTERS)

Our Lorikeets are fed a diet of dry mix every day with wet mix mainly supplied periodically as a treat during the non breeding season or when there is young in the nest they are also fed a variety of seven fruit and veg on Monday, Wednesday & Friday during the off season

During the breeding season they get there dry mix Fresh fruit and veg every day with liquid calcium added every second day and every other day they get a multi vitamin supplement whit wet mix given to them every second day

All our Lorikeets are wormed just before the breeding season in June and just after the breeding season in January or February depending if their still raising young in the nest. Their wormed with a water diluted bird wormer put in to their wet mix we found this is the easiest way to make sure their wormed short of cropping them

The suspended's measure:
900 high x 900 wide x 2400 long &
1200 high x 700 wide x 1500 long

We use Z shaped & A frame nest box's for our Lorikeets we find that both work very well with good success with both styles
