The 28 Parrot is a big but quiet parrot which is the similar in size to a Alexandrine with a soft call like the Rosella’s
They come from Western Australia they damage farmers crops and are trapped and killed as Agriculture pests.
While you can quite freely buy then direct from Western Australia 99% of them are wild trapped birds that are extremely flighty and most don’t live long in captivity.
The best way to obtain a pair of them is from a reputable breeder that has hand raised and Sexed them as even aviary bred birds that are not hand raised are still naturally flightily.
We breed both 28 Parrot Crosses (Which happens naturally in the wild)
BUT we also have a PURE pair of 28 Parrots which are Extremely hard to find in both captivity and the wild.
PURE means NO Yellow on the birds Brest !!
